Hey, I'm Vanessa Prado.
I'm a photographer from Tampa, Florida that is currently based out of downtown Los Angeles, California. I specialize in smoothing live music. I can shoot all types of genres of music from EDM, rap/hip-hop, jam bands, etc. I have shot for various artists such as Ashanti, Black Coffee, Leo Dan, Lane 8, Stephan Marley, Tame Impala & others. I have also shot at many music festivals such as Shambhala Music Festival, Imagine Music Festival, Hulaween, Okeechobee Music Festival as well as many others. I am also an insured photographer.
I was a chef for 5 years before I picked up the camera, so sweating with physical and mental labor is cake for me. I am a self taught photographer since 2018 who started shooting live music because at one point in my life I was very depressed, but going to lots of music events made me so happy. Nothing beats the energy of a live music show. It gave me life. When you're depressed, the good times get forgotten sometimes but then you see an amazing picture, relive that moment in the image, and then all the happy feelings come back. That's why I picked up photography, to forever remember the good times. Capture it. Cherish it. Love it.
